College ID Camp waivers

The OHSAA will not be granting College ID Camp waivers for the 2021 fall season.
Student-athletes may attend College ID camps anytime between June 1 – July 31, 2021.
Student-athletes choosing to participate in College ID camps between August 1 – September 7, 2021 may do so as long as they have not triggered member of a team status. Student-athletes trigger member of a team status when they participate in a scrimmage, preview or regular season contest. Participation in practice with a school team does not trigger member of a team status.
FOR EXAMPLE: A student-athlete would like to attend a College ID camp on August 7th. The school team has a scrimmage scheduled for August 4th. He or she may start practicing August 1st with his or her school team but should not participate in the scrimmage on August 4th to be eligible to participate in the College ID Camp on August 7th. Participation on August 4th would trigger member of a team status identifying the individual ineligible for non-interscholastic participation.

Friday Night Futbol will continue but the date has been moved up one week due to the change in OHSAA Football Playoff format. The football regular season will now start on August 20, so Friday Night Futbol has been moved to August 13. An incentive has been put into place for teams that choose to take part in the OHSAA Friday Night Futbol due to the limited number of practice days before August 13. The first official day of practice begins on August 1.
